About Us

Welcome to HOPES’ Homebakes. So, you may ask – why HOPES’? Perhaps it’s because – in this

increasingly challenging world – cakes and brownies are an ever more important source of hope? Or

simply because my name is Hope?!

Well, neither of these is quite true. My name is Sarah and HOPES’ is a homage to my five beautiful

children who are the inspiration and motivation behind my baking:

Over several years of maternity leave from my career, I have honed my baking skills and come up

with ever more indulgent recipes for this extremely demanding audience! They are my toughest

critics but also my most vocal supporters – so I know if my cakes and brownies keep them happy, I

must be doing something right! I bake everything from my home kitchen in South Wales and

everything was initially made for the little people who are closest to my heart – so you can be sure

that all our products are genuinely made with love. Enjoy x
